Hi all, I had a meeting on Friday, on behalf of Andy/Consume Bristol, with Jos Moule from Osbourne-Clark solicitors WRT to getting Consume Bristol a charitable organisation status. Basically, he thought it was possible and was prepared to spend some time looking into the possibility, including talking it through with the Charitities Commision. The first step is to clearly define for him what the aims/objectives of Consume Bristol are. This is important because a charity must fall into one of four categories (education, public good, religious, and something else). If we get that agreed, he can just get on with it. So, anyone got any ideas/thoughts? josh.
