Initial Comment:
When running suexec/suphp in Apache vor virtual hosting
it's common practice to put the Apache-User into the
domainuser's group. Assuming you user is called
www.mydonmain.tld and the group is called
mydonmain.tld, then you would add something like
"mydomain.de: www-data" to the groups file. 
The reason for doin to is simple: If run a PHP Script
that creates static files like, myfile.html, it's owned
by www.mydonmain.tld:mydomain.de. If the Apache wants
to read and deliver it, he does not have the rights to
see it unless you set "chmod g+r"  (or umask that). The
drawback of doing so is that all other users on that
host can read the file. If you want to htaccess protect
that file, the protection would only work for the
outside world.

I would like to see a generic:
"ispman.addUserToGroup"

and an option within WEB-UI to "auto add www-data" or such.
