Hi Pedro,

as of today we create one database per domain with a random username and 
pw. It might be useful to have the ability to create one database per 
vhost, but this should be enough. I guess there might be also only some 
very rare cases in which a customer needs more then one user per db.
So storing the username (id) in LDAP would be the way to go.

As soon as we have an agent for creating, deleting, modifying the 
database it might also be easy for one to extend this agent to dump (of 
course with nice) a database to the domain/vhost directory for backups.
Moreover if we can find a place in the schema to store information about 
the database size it might also be easy to let the agent provide this 
information. But these should both be steps we can take if we have the 
mysql installer already. ;-)
