Here's the overview.

Imagine I have a user, [email protected], which has an
alias of [email protected]

Now imagine I create a user [email protected]? :)

Well, ispman won't bug you, but that might bring some
problems regarding postfix. Will the alias and the user
both get the mail addressed to [email protected]?

There should be a "hook" that prior to creating an
alias or a new user, checks if that address is already
beeing used within that domain.
