It would be nice if there where a custom menu item which could be individually linked to any url. This could be useful for your domain-registration interface or maybe for your (web-based) accounting/billing software.

To solve this for me I have added the attached ldif entry, inserted in
topmenu.tmpl at line 56:

if ( $ispman->getConf('customMenu') ne "" ) {

target=\"content\" href=\"".$ispman->getConf('customMenu').'">Custom
Menu</a></nobr></td>';
   }
   return $var1;
</perl>
and added customMenu to ispman.conf, so that line 106 reads like this:
$Config->{'ispmanVarSort'}{'sys_vars'}=['agentFrequency','userPassHashMethod','sleepSecondsBetweenRestart','installDir','rootEmail','menuMode','customMenu'];

I hope this might be useful for somebody and moreover someone can put this
in the source?
