putting it to the CVS (the howto I assume, not the mysql module).

Yes, there is _very_ strong intertest in mysql-mgmt (and postgresql-mgmt).

Besides that, what is wrong with your additional customer info? As long
as the fields are optional, I would love to see it integrated, too (/me
is ISP too, I think may os us are)
But I can clearly understand that it mayb be a market advantage of your
business to have such ;)

Have you ever thought about building a generic plugin? I mean a plugin
in which you can configure the service name ("mysql"), service add
("mysqladmin ...") , service remove ("mysqladmin -u ...") and maybe
user/password length and regex?
