Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Andreas John (derjohn) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: ispman.createMailbox - unixhierarchysep/dots in username Initial Comment: ispman.createMailbox does not support "unixhierarchysep: yes", if that is set in /etc/imapd.conf. This feature enables usernames with dots in it, which would be nice for logging in as [email protected] I would like a see a config entry in the ispman.conf which does configure the behavior of ispman.createMailbox. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Pedro Algarvio (s0undt3ch) Date: 2006-06-02 01:58 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=927681 Besides, what are the problems that you know of? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Pedro Algarvio (s0undt3ch) Date: 2006-06-02 01:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=927681 Replyind to Robert, that behaviour should be optional and I've been sucessfull at it. See https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=11070303&forum_id=5722 look at the attachment on my last reply, after Andreas John reply(at this moment ain't there but it will be). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Middleswarth (rmiddle) Date: 2006-06-01 20:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1687 If you start out using ISPMan 1.2 or higher you don't need that option turned on as all username convert the period into underscore. If you are like me and still have users with dot's and have that option turned on then it requires you to manually update 1 file and then cvs will keep that change for you. I don't see an easy fix for this problem as I used ISPman in a non standard way and now have to do workarounds for that it was well known before 1.2 reliase about the dot in names problems.
