Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Pedro Algarvio (s0undt3ch) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Cyrus unixhierarchysep and full email address logins Initial Comment: This patch is regarding: - http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=11070303&forum_id=5722 - http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1497213&group_id=8390&atid=358390 Basicly it will provide the necessary behaviour to allow users to login with their full email adreess, so no more username_domain_tld (Behaviour is optional and based on a domumented variable on ispman.conf). This will not take perdition from the necessary sotftware toolkit if you want to split your mailserver with serveral backends. It will also provide the necessary behaviour to allow dot's in usernames with cyrus(virtdomains), ie, [email protected] You might think that ISPMan allows this already, you're correct(with the underscore translation behaviour only). But with this patch, ISPMan will behave correctly with Cyrus unixhierarchysep and virtdomains settings set to "yes/on". There might exist some stuff that are not fully working. If you do find such a thing, please let me know so I can update the patch. The better the patch is, the most likely it will get included into ISPMan.
