What do you mean by "prevented"? I use bind9 in all cases (are there
still bind8 users out?). I hope you didnt disable the catchall at all?
Just prevented the loop?

Well, I take that as a "Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl" (German proverb, those
those lurkers who dont speak German. "Give a hint with the baseball
bat"). I think about it. At least powerdns and tinydns have growing user
numbers, too ...
