Hi,
The message below as been also been posted to ispman-user lists, but it is
may be more appropriated here (anyway it is posted on both now).
My original question was:
> Is anyone running ISPMan 1.3 with Fedora-DS instead of OpenLDAP?
>
> I tried a few scripts to convert ISPMan OpenLDAP schema to Fedora-DS
> (which use strict RFC 2252 ldif files) without any success.
And the latest update is :
In reply to Atif Ghaffar :
>Did you try the schema2ldif.pl script
>It supports ibm and iplanet directory server.
>See scripts directory.
Yes I tryed but ispman schemas need to be updated (I did some cleanup) and
also used ol-schema-migrate.pl script:
<http://directory.fedora.redhat.com/wiki/Howto:OpenLDAPMigration>
http://directory.fedora.redhat.com/wiki/Howto:OpenLDAPMigration
Thanks to Mike (script author) for explanations on some schema issues.
Then I am able to restart slapd with the converted schemas:
80RADIUS-LDAPv3.ldif
81pureftpd.ldif
I copy them in FDS schema directory to be able to see some verbose reporting
(not the case through the admin console import tool).
But I can not import the next ispman schemas:
dnszone & ispman
Due to some unknown attribute or OID conflict.../... like:
[30/Jan/2006:19:08:48 -0500] dse - The entry cn=schema in file
/opt/fedora-ds/slapd-ldapmst01/config/schema/82ispman.ldif is invalid, error
code 21 (Invalid syntax) - attribute type amavisSpamTagLevel: Unknown
attribute syntax OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.36"
[30/Jan/2006:19:10:19 -0500] dse - The entry cn=schema in file
/opt/fedora-ds/slapd-ldapmst01/config/schema/79dnszone.ldif is invalid,
error code 21 (Invalid syntax) - object class dNSZone: Unknown allowed
attribute type "ARecord"
For dnszone it seems to be a well known FDS bug:
tml>
https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-directory-users/2005-July/msg00148.ht
ml
The workaround in the thread above for aRecord (dnszone) did not solve my
problem because next FDS complains about MDRecord, MXRecord and so on.
I had the same type of issues with Joerg Delker schema.
I do not know how you guys have imported ispman schemas on FDS/RHDS cause
the more I'm fixing the more issue I discover I am not confident at all on
all these modifications.
I will appreciate any ideas/workaround on the issue above and feedback from
people who use ispman on FDS.
