I apologize if someone responded to my previous email, but I had a spam filter problem that I had to purge my queue's. Any help would be greatly appreciated... I'm still getting the following error. ov 6 18:50:40 mega postfix/smtpd[3357]: connect from unknown[204.8.181.3] Nov 6 18:50:40 mega postfix/smtpd[3357]: 7D9B93EC11C: client=unknown[204.8.181.3] Nov 6 18:50:40 mega imap[3291]: login: [204.8.181.3] rtartar_host2max_com plaintext Nov 6 18:50:40 mega postfix/smtpd[3357]: 7D9B93EC11C: reject: RCPT from unknown[204.8.181.3]: 450 <r tartar_host2max_com-2/gCl6bB22kcTBhn6FMI0wC/[email protected]>: User unknown in local recipient table; from=<rtartar@host2max .com> to=<rtartar_host2max_com-2/gCl6bB22kcTBhn6FMI0wC/[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<mega2.host2max.com> The following is my main.cf file queue_directory = /var/spool/postfix command_directory = /usr/sbin daemon_directory = /usr/libexec/postfix mail_owner = postfix # inet_interfaces = localhost biff = no unknown_local_recipient_reject_code = 450 debug_peer_level = 2 debugger_command = PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin xxgdb $daemon_directory/$process_name $process_id & sleep 5 sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail.postfix newaliases_path = /usr/bin/newaliases.postfix mailq_path = /usr/bin/mailq.postfix setgid_group = postdrop manpage_directory = /usr/share/man sample_directory = /usr/share/doc/postfix-2.0.18/samples readme_directory = /usr/share/doc/postfix-2.0.18/README_FILES myhostname = mega.host2max.com mydomain = host2max.com alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases myorigin = localhost mydestination = $mydomain, $myhostname, localhost.localdomain, localhost, hash:/etc/postfix/destinati on_domains virtual_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual ldap:ldapvirtual mailbox_transport = lmtp:localhost:2003 relayhost = mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 , 204.8.181.0/26 mailbox_size_limit = 0 recipient_delimiter = + # default_transport = smtp inet_interfaces = all ldapvirtual_server_host = localhost ldapvirtual_server_port = 389 ldapvirtual_bind = no ldapvirtual_bind_dn = cn=Manager, o=ispman ldapvirtual_bind_pw = xxxxx ldapvirtual_timeout = 5 ldapvirtual_search_base = o=ispman ldapvirtual_query_filter = (|(mailLocalAddress=%s)(mailAlias=%s)) ldapvirtual_result_attribute = mailRoutingAddress,mailForwardingAddress ldapvirtual_lookup_wildcards = no relocated_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/relocated # smtpd_sender_restrictions = hash:/etc/postfix/access transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport local_destination_concurrency_limit = 2 default_destination_concurrency_limit = 10 debug_peer_level = 3 # for authentication smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous # can use this next line instead, when testing CRAM-MD5 # smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous, noplaintext smtpd_sasl_local_domain = broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes # smtpd_sender_restrictions = # permit_sasl_authenticated, # permit_mynetworks, # reject_unauth_destination # smtpd_recipient_restrictions = # permit_sasl_authenticated, # permit_mynetworks, # reject_unauth_destination -----Original Message----- From: ispman-users-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org [mailto:ispman-users-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org] On Behalf Of lipilee Sent: Saturday, November 06, 2004 12:34 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Ispman-users] Sample Configs for Postfix Hi, Did you manage to get your postfix working? I have v2.x as well, and had a hard time so far... Partially because http://www.nyetwork.org/~wim/example-mail-configs-wim.tar.gz access is forbidden... This config is fine except I don't know what goes in the external files that are mentioned in there... thx lip Ronnie Tartar wrote: > I'm sorry, the 1.2 version was not postfix, it was ispman.
