When I migrated from a monolithic Redhat setup to Debian+ISPMan, I wrote 
up my own scripts to parse passwd & shadow on a per-domain basis, and 
used the ldapmodify to update the user's "userPassword" entry to 
"{crypt}$md5password".

Unfortunately, the scripts were pretty custom for what we wanted to do, 
and not super generic.
