2. Yes you can have dedicated filtering server. For example you can
run amavisd-new on one server and tell postfix to contact that server
for content-filtering. See

3. One webmailapplication can handle multiple  imap servers. You can
also use perdition imap/pop proxy to have a unified imap entry point.
