ispman-agent kills slapd

I am having problems with ispman-agent killing slapd when domain 
modifications are made through ispman-0.9.7.

I have over 100 domains and have traced the issue to ispman.ldap2named

This all started when I transitioned from init to daemontools.

The only difference between the current setup is the following:

slapd - running under daemontools w/ -d argument (to run in foreground).
ispman-agent - no difference.

I can't seem to get ispman-agent to run in nodetach mode for use under 
daemontools, which I think may solve the problem.
