Hi Simon, I'm currently unaware wether Net::LDAP handles LDAP referrals properly. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to test this. Besides some possibly nasty side effects in such scenarios (delayed replication to consumer might irretate client when writing/reading in succession) I would strongly recommend to use a LDAP master for ispman (multi master is ok, too).
