If a patch is supplied, it basically depends on the time needed for
evaluation, which in turn depends on the complexity and impact of the patch.

Search the mail archive. It was posted there before.
There is also information in docs/devel/CVS-Rules.

Development is currently done in HEAD, release bugfixing in the
particular rel_x_x-bugfixes branch.
Any other (recent) branch is "experimental" without any defined status.

Abandoned. I startet it to cleanup code, but gave it up in favor of a
new clean redesign.

It is worked on right now, but don't expect it to hit the road very
soon. There is much work to do, and I will go public with my stuff as
soon as I have the fundamental backend working.
