That's ancient stuff, that was implemented by Atif (?) a long time ago 
and was draged to every new release since then.
It is totally undocumented and I never used this myself.

Therefor, I can't give any status, but would guess that it is not usable 
right now.
Anyone interested may evaluate it and make necessary adjustments.
