any progress on the new customer control panel?

Hi,

I was wondering if there was any progress on the new cutomer control panel
as the old one has been excluded from active development.

I have been looking at the "client" privileges within the admin interface.
The options the client has seems too much:

- can choose any mail/web/fileserver on creating a web-site/mail acccount
- can change document root when creating web-site

Any way to limit the amount of options for a client?
