The issue is simple: I'm trying to port some of the features in embed to 
the main branch. Since most people are in vacation - I am hoping the
failures will cause less pain. 

I'll fix the gump descriptors ( i.e. remove embed and keep only embed
optional ), but fixing ant seemed more urgent.
