If by complete build you mean gen+update+build all, that's not too far 
out of range, on my 2Ghz machine, this takes about 4 hours.  I wouldn't 
be surprised if on my thinkpad it was closer to 6.

Rubix (the 2Ghz machine) is running plain redhat 7.3.
