yes it looks you are right, they are ignored by the parser, and thus completly ignored.
I guess they exist just for documentation purposes of the ivy.xml ?

But if it turns out they can be used at other places, perhaps we can just implement it?

in ivy.xml files the is an <info> node with a childe <ivvyauthor> which
would make a great CycloneDX supplier and a node <repository> that could
be used for a "distribution" external references. Both have
corresponding entries in Maven POMs (organisation and
distributionManagement).

To me it looks as if either field is completly ignored by Ivy itself,
the only references I've found in XmlModuleDescriptorParser contains
"nothing to do, we don't store this" comments.

So why do these things exist at all? Is this an unfinished idea or
something similar?
