All our Log4J support is for 1.1.x, which is very old news. Someone sent a patch for me to upgrade support for Log4J 1.2.x which is the current version. I would like to commit it to Avalon Framework, but because it causes back compatibitlity issues, it requires the community approval before I commit it.
