So if you make any changes at all and rebuild any module, you have to bump the release number. Therefore, it would seem that as part of your cleanup, all component versions should be bumped, and after the entire Avalon landscape is so treated and cleaned up, the Release process should be followed for the entirety of A4. The PMC does have to determine that there is a consistent set of packages that work together, rather than leave it as a Chinese menu for users to figure out. --- Noel
