Magic Installer

Gang,

I am toying a little bit with an ultrasmall installer for Magic, i.e.
something that installs Magic on your system.

The 'current' codebase downloads the actual Magic from a remote repository,
and installs the respective parts into ${user.home}/.magic and
${user.home}/.ant/lib.

There are no "options" available, nor does it make any checks that the
requirements are met ( for instance, Ant 1.6.2).

The installer is self-contained in a Jar file and is started with a

java -jar magic-installer.jar [-console | -gui]

Both Console and Swing modes are supported.

So,

What 'features' would you guys like to see?

Is it better to have a generic installer that downloads Magic, or should Magic
be part of the installer download?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Niclas
