I don't have a local repository (yet) so I don't have
anywhere to download the ds file from. That's why I'm
just referencing it from disk. As for the
server-impl.jar, it is in the repository since it's a
product of the build process. 

I think is is specified as the absolute path maybe
because of the way I start merlin where I give the
full path as the arugment to merlin jar. It's merlin
3.2.3.
