I have not heard yet about such a usage but we are definitly interested
to here about such trials here!

Looks like Kopano groupware relies on MAPI as an email protocol.
According to wikipedia: Messaging Application Programming Interface
(/MAPI/) is an API for Microsoft Windows which allows programs to become
/email/-aware.

Needless to say: MAPI is not a protocol supported by James.
