James work on windows just fine because its make in java which
cross-platform. Certificates program like Certbot from Lets encrypt -
WinACME also work fine and even automatically update certificates for
james. All things work so if u don't want linux - windows is option. Ubuntu
need to install through debootstrap minbase, any other variant come with
alot of not needed packages, but if u want total control of ur system and
fast as nothing else - Gentoo.
