GitHub user yuri-kiss added a comment to the discussion: Deprecate the Log4j Scala API I know I am not a maintainer or a contributor, but I would like to say +1, I *personally* have never seen it used in any real capacity, and outside of that I myself don't even use it even though I prefer to use log4j2 in my scala projects, I just use the Java API instead.
