If you disagree, please explain. #4142 still needs to be reviewed. `2.26.1` can be shipped with or without it, both are fine. But it should not be a blocker for `2.26.1`. Ramanathan, you can create the `2.26.x` branch from the `rel/2.26.0` tag, and copy `.github/dependabot.yaml` changes from the `2.25.x` branch, assuming Piotr already updated that to perform PATCH-level upgrades as he suggested.
