Bugfix in MergedByteVectorValues and Backport Consideration for 10.2.2

Hi all,

I found a small bug in MergedByteVectorValues and will be opening a PR with
a fix shortly.
GH : Issue-14992 <https://github.com/apache/lucene/issues/14992>

I assume this will go into 10.2.3, but I’m wondering, what’s the process
(if any) to get it into 10.2.2?
OpenSearch 3.1 depends on 10.2.2, so having the fix there would really help
us avoid extra overhead on our end.

Would appreciate any guidance on whether a backport is possible, and how to
go about it if so.
