I download it too (+ adding the jdo.jar and jdori.jar). Please run
'ant junit'
first to check the build. You shouldn't get any failures (I didn't get 
get any). Then you can run
'ant jar'
to build the 1.0.3 jar if needed.
No need to perform other tasks - I don't know why these specific task 
fails, but it's not necessary to build and run OJB.
