Unfortunately, that's pretty typical.  I suppose he didn't supply
the test code either.

I hope he passes it along.  Although we can generate our own performance
testing suite, it's good to include expressions and input representative
of real use-cases instead of just a set of feature by feature test
cases (more appropriate for unit tests) that might otherwise result.
Anyway, it would be nice if people with these small itches would share
their work here instead of working in isolation.
