Unmatched / out of sequence entries

I've written a regex in which allows the search agent
to return entries matching those as in Google.

The regex is as:

<p class=g><!---m><a class=1 href="([^"]*)"
onmousedown="([^"]*)">(.*?</a)

The problem is that some entries are not in sequential
order as in Google.

Anything that I can do to rectify the problem?
