Hi David,
you were right. The problem was in my HibernateUtil class. I tried to
get a session like this:
public static final ThreadLocal<Session> session = new
ThreadLocal<Session>();
public static Session currentSession() throws HibernateException {
Session s = session.get();
// If there is no session create one
if(s==null){
s = sessionFactory.openSession();
session.set(s);
}
return s;
}
public static void closeSession() throws HibernateException {
Session s = session.get();
if(s != null){
s.close();
}
session.set(null);
}
After removing generics and adding the necessary casts it worked (though
I don't understand the difference yet).
