Thanks for this hint! I tried it with the tomcat version that came along 
with the bundled pluto-1.0.1 version and it didn't work either. So I 
just downloaded Tomcat 5.5.12 et voila it works! But since the bundled 
version of pluto uses Tomcat 5.5.x and jstl also works on my Tomcat 
5.0.30 I wonder what's wrong with the bundled version?
