thanks for the mailing list link - my mail client removed most of the original message.
I've changed the conversion in POI 5.1.0 with #65612 [1], please use a newer version and report your findings.
I guess your conversion will have more metadata and functionality and I assume you know about the PPTX -> SVG conversion already [2].
