Thank you for the reply Dominik. But the customer is stuck and stressing on the word "unexpected side-effects" that you mentioned in short-comings and the reasons why the message doesn't cause any unexpected side-effects.
"It prints to stderr which many large-scale applications try to avoid by using some logging framework, thus this output might "vanish" unseen in some installations or might cause unexpected side-effects"

I already informed them POI work is done voluntarily and there is nothing much you can do unless the commons-compress bug is resolved. Thanks for understanding.
