I still will look into it, but since LibreOffice is accepting POI's
files now again I don't think its urgent.
It even may be an misunderstanding on my side, although I am eager to
experiment with it a bit.

It is safe and most welcome to release 5.4 since I would need time
anyways and also can not guarantee any useful outcome.
