Summary: '~' character not accepted in connect URIs
           Product: Slide
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebDAV client
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

The '`' character doesn't seem to be accepted in connect URIs the client, making
it impossible to connect to some WebDAV servers. For example, I'm writing a
WebDAV server in PHP, and it's accessible by any other client I've tried (Mac OS
X Finder, Windows Explorer, Transmit, Goliath).
Here's the output:

PB-Christiaan:~/Work/install/jakarta-slide-webdavclient-src-2.1/dist/bin chris$
./run.sh
[ Slide ] $ open http://localhost/~chris/webdav/db_server.php
Error: line 1:23: unexpected char: '~'
[ Slide ] $ Error: invalid command: chris/webdav/db_server.php
[ Slide ] $
