The build.xml file is configured with 
<condition>
  <or>
    <equals arg1="${ant.java.version}" arg2="1.4"/>
    <equals arg1="${ant.java.version}" arg2="1.5"/>
  </or>
</condition>

Running this under Java6 causes a failure for jaxp.
