Small Isuue with DASL Search

Dear all, I am using slide2.2 with lucene content indexer. I am searching in the resources using DASL search. I am getting results aslo. But i want to know if this DASL is using INDEX or it is doing its defaut search. Actually i want to know if my indexes are being used in search or not. How can i come to know?
