As Antoine, pointed out, you should have a slide-doc.war which contains pretty much all the documentation on the website, but let me send you some links also just in case.

Look at the Wiki page, it contains useful information for setup and configuration.

If you want a description of what the Properties are for look at:

Or do a "site search" for specific keywords on the SLIDE mailing lists:
In google textbox
 type:  

keywords site:http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/jakarta-slide-user/

That would do a search on the mailing list archives for the keywords you provide.
