how to increase performance for mustiuser environment

Deal All,

I m using slide at a server. It is working in mulituser environment. Many
users connected to it at one time and sending requests and slide gives the
responses. Plz someone tell me how to configure slide or tomcat to work best
in multiuser environment:-

1. What configuration or changes need in slide
2. What configuration or changes need in tomcat
3. What other enviroment factors shoudl be fix.
