Hi JV,

I have established the connection as specified on http://jakarta.apache.org/slide/xp.html with Windows XP and it works fine.
I use the following network addressed when asked for it: http://localhost:8050/slide/files/

When I use MS Office to store/retrieve files I always go to that Webfolder that was created under My Network Places.

Yes, for me it works with all Office XP, Office 2000 and Office 2003 products.  I have not tried any of the Office 2007.
