Help: Where to set "differ_writting" and "asyncron" in Domain.xml

Dear All,
Some one suggested me to set "differ_writting" and "Asyncron" mode for slide
with lucene indexing for better performance. Can anybody tell me what is the
location in Domain.xml to set therse parameters. And what value reflect what
things.
