The Apache Tomcat team announces the immediate availability of Apache =
Standard Taglib 1.2.3.

Apache Standard Taglib is an open source software implementation of the =
JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL) technology.

This release supports JSTL version 1.2 and includes bug-fixes and =
improvements on the previous 1.2.1 release. The notable changes include:
- Updated -compat library to use container=E2=80=99s EL implementation =
for JSTL 1.0
- Better classloading support when deployed in-container vs. in-webapp
