I don't know about the link warnings. context.xml has: <Resources allowLinking="true" /> 
and each <Host> entry in server.xml has:

<Context path="" docBase="horeb-wright3" reloadable="false" allowLinking="true">

and the index.jsp file it's choking on is symlinked, but it is trying to run it --
but I also tried all this with non-symlinked files.
