Thanks. Regarding the compiler plugin, if the "4.0.x" column is for the 
current state of Maven core on the GitHub repository, the status should 
be green. There is a known issue with 4.0.0-rc-5, but it was a Maven 
core issue which has been fixed after the 4.0.0-rc-5 release.
