with other structural questions:
- executor-1.0.0.-source-release.zip: I'd have expected maven-executor-1.0.0.-
source-release.zip
- why not integrated in https://maven.apache.org/shared/index.html ?

and we created retirement instructions
  https://maven.apache.org/developers/retirement-plan-plugins.html
we would probably need equivalent instructions on adding a new project, as we 
are growing our maintenance scope

Is there a reason to get such a fast 1.0.0 and 2.x done without taking time 
for feedback?
