* sha512/sha1 checksums and PGP signatures of source-release.zip and
  maven-toolchains-plugin-3.3.0.jar OK
  (key 84789D24DF77A32433CE1F079EB80E92EB2135B1 from
  https://downloads.apache.org/maven/KEYS)
* built from source-release.zip with Maven 3.10.0-rc-1 (-P run-its):
  BUILD SUCCESS, 8 ITs pass, apache-rat check green
* reproducible build: the jar is bit-identical to the staged artifact
  when built with the reference JDK (Build-Jdk-Spec: 25); with JDK 21
  only the Build-Jdk-Spec manifest line and the synthetic lambda-method
  names of one class differ (a javac numbering change, no semantic diff)
